Mortal Kombat

Mortal Kombat (MK) is the first game of the saga, was released in 1992 from Midway Games for Recrativas Machines (Arcade). The style of play did enjoy to beginners and those who already had more experience in the genre.

Mortal Kombat presented 5 buttons, two for fists and others two for kicks (both high and low), and the block button.

The funny thing about game is that each of these characters were a real actors who gave their image with digital motion capture, giving excessive realism to the game.

In a mysterious island, the supernatural warriors fight for the destiny of the Earth.

The great tournament known as Mortal Kombat, was for years a competition of honor and glory. Warriors from around the world were invited to fight. Around
a thousand years ago, a wizard named Shang Tsung entered in the tournament and immediately he won, becoming the Supreme Champion.

A Shang Tsung is not enough on to win a tournament, he must win ten consecutive times to open the dimensional portal that allegedly linking the Earth with Outworld.

500 years ago, when almost had collected enough souls to Shao Kahn was defeated by the Great Kung Lao, a priest of the order of light.

Shang Tsung returns to the tournament with goro, a fighting half man, half-dragon with four arms and two feet high known as The Prince of Pain. Goro beat Shaolin monk known as Kung Lao, and for 500 years has gone undefeated as Supreme Champion, Shang Tsung he has again taken control of the tournament and has won nine consecutive times. Once again, it's time in the Shaolin Tournament known as Mortal Kombat held every generation by the greatest fighters on Earth face off against opponents of Outworld and one of the 50 wrestlers who will be elected you.

Hi to all, this new blog is created to comment about the video game Mortal Kombat, i update this blog every week writing about each game in the saga. I'm going to write about the story of the game: Mortal Kombat is about a fighting tournament between different worlds, the winner of the tournament save his home.

-Mortal Kombat (MK) is a successful fighting game series created by John Tobias and Ed Boon. Developed by Midway Games company.

-In is time attracted much attention for its gore and digitized graphics, every fighter, was a human actor recaptured their movements and incorporated into the game (this graphical style ending in Mortal Kombat 4).

-Every fighter has his own history to participate in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Every has its own fighting movements, and some are able to use special powers to attack the opponent. Others have special tricks such as weapons, ropes, claws, etc. There are some movements to finish off rivals on point of to be knocked out, including brutal dismemberment, decapitation, incineration, explosions, etc.. called Fatality.

-Mortal Kombat due of their crude violence, attracted attention and controversy until then unnoticed world of the world of video games and this produce the creation of age rating of video games in USA on 1994. Unfortunately at this time this great fighting game not have the same popularity it had in the beginning, despite it all the saga is very worthy of to be played.
